2014 saw the members of The Goodbye Theory expanding their horizons and branching out and playing some acoustic shows outside of the band. In keeping with this vibe, and borrowing a page from Alice in Chains (who would put out an acoustic EP after a major release), the band decided to bring their acoustic guitars to a recording session to see what would happen. The result is a magical, reimagining of your favorite Goodbye Theory tunes. The band also rounded out this release by adding 2 cover songs (‘Learn to Fly’ by Foo Fighters, and ‘I Was a Teenage Anarchist’ by Against Me!), and including two previously unreleased songs (Sunday Night and Not My Fault). The rest of the collection are pure fan (and band) favorites. This latest EP really showcases the diversity of the band, and breathes new life into some classic GBT songs.
